Background

I started my career at Deloitte in audit, learning how firms actually operate from the inside — how partners think, how decisions get made, and how complexity accumulates quietly over time.

After Big 4, I moved into specialized tax credit work, helping firms identify value they were leaving on the table. That work revealed something consistent across firms of all sizes:

Most don't have a knowledge problem. They have a clarity problem.

They can feel that something is off. They sense a constraint. But they can't name it precisely — so they invest in the wrong order.

A hire when structure is the issue. Marketing when delivery is misaligned. A rebrand when the real constraint is client mix or capacity.

Those decisions aren't reckless. They're made without clean information.

Why I do this work

Professional services firms are built on trust, reputation, and long-term relationships. Growth advice designed for tech startups or execution-heavy agencies doesn't translate cleanly.

The risk isn't moving too slowly. It's locking in the wrong move and living with the consequences.
